Adult Bible Studies

* Adult Study Classes, Sundays at 9 a.m. - HFC's Sunday morning Bible studies are available every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. A variety of topics are offered, from topical studies to verse-by-verse studies. Classes change each quarter, offering you a chance to meet different people and study different aspects of God's Word.

* Weekly Bible Study, Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. - On Wednesday evenings, Pastor Dennis Dewey leads an adult Bible study. The Wednesday Bible study is offered during the school year. The current topic of study is the miracles of Jesus.

In addition, Hope Fellowship offers its members access to RightNow Media, an online resource for video Bible studies and other resources. This service is provided for both members' personal study at home as well as small group curriculum and Bible study class curriculum choices.

Senior Adults

60+ Luncheon - Everyone age 60 and older is invited to the 60+ Luncheon, held on the first Thursday of every month. Enjoy a potluck lunch with your peers. In addition, each lunch will include a special guest or speaker to help encourage, inform and inspire. It's a great time of fellowship.

Women of Hope

* Women's Retreat - Each spring, the ladies of Hope Fellowship come together with ladies from NAB churches across Kansas and Missouri for a weekend getaway. This overnight trip is one of the best chances to get to know other women in the church, to set aside your cares for a short time and to be encouraged through Scripture and laughter.

* Christian Fiction Book Club, Second Monday of the Month at 6:30 p.m. - Do you love to read? Join the Women of Hope Fiction Book Club! Each month we read a new book, then get together at our local Panera to discuss it. It's a great opportunity to fellowship and share your love of reading encouraging and wholesome fiction books.

* Women's Small Group - A women's Bible study group meets every other Thursday evening at 7 p.m. The group rotates meeting in the homes of various ladies.

In addition, Hope Fellowship's women's ministry occasionally has ladies only events for fun and fellowship. Each year the ladies host a tea event. Other events have included scavenger hunts, dinners and conferences.

Men's Fellowship

* Men's Advance - "Men don't retreat, they advance." And, that's what the men of Hope Fellowship do at their weekend getaway each spring - advance in their faith, advance in their friendships and advance in their character.

* Men's Breakfast, First Saturday of Each Month at 8:30 a.m. - What better way to get together than over a stack of pancakes and coffee? The men of Hope Fellowship gather monthly for food, fellowship and discussion on issues that affect men's lives.

In addition, Hope Fellowship's men's ministry occasionally has men only events for fun and fellowship. Such events have included hunting/fishing trips, cookouts and conferences.

Small Groups

Small groups are vital to Hope Fellowship's ministry. Groups typically meet every other Sunday evening at 6 p.m., although each group may set its own schedule according to its members. Childcare is provided at the church for small groups that follow the Sunday evening schedule.

Small groups provide you an opportunity to get to know, study with and pray for a handful of other believers. They meet in homes throughout the Northland community, often beginning with a time of food and fellowship, followed by a time of study. Each group chooses its own study content. The church provides a variety of resources to help groups with their studies, including video resources and discussion outlines.

Although HFC small groups typically form and begin in early September and run through May, many groups continue meeting all year. If you're new to Hope Fellowship, we welcome you to join in on a small group at any time. It's a great way to get connected and begin building encouraging relationships. Contact the church office for more information on how you can get involved.
